Job Description As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules while implementing best practices to ensure continuous improvement. You will proactively manage and communicate any delays, emergencies, or problems that may arise, overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project schedules, including schedule look-aheads.
- Implement best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Proactively manage, prevent, and communicate any delays, emergencies, or problems that can arise.
- Coach and develop project team members, including those in training and lead roles.
- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure adherence to all quality policies and procedures outlined by the company and the customer.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
- Meet contractual conditions of performance as outlined by the customer and company standards.
- Review work progress on a daily basis.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Obtain permits and licenses as required.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

- Industrial project experience.
- Three years of project management experience.
- Computer skills.
- Commercial construction and estimation.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Three or more years of related experience.
- Strong pre-planning and scheduling experience.
- Ability to forecast and provide financial breakdowns.
- Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
- Expert knowledge of means and methods, building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages such as RedTeam, Sage, and Microsoft Projects.
