Join us as a Lead Assembly Operator in our Dover, NH facility. You will be working within our Carbon filter production area, supporting the supervisors, training employees on all process and carrying out tasks to ensure production is being done efficiently, safely, and processes are being followed More details about the opportunity: Employees work with assembly cells that have 1 to 3 employees per cell, they use machines that help with the assembly process and packaging the product. This position will be a lead over this area and the extrusion area which consists of operation of extrusion machinery. Use decision making abilities to resolve problems and prioritize multiple tasks within the manufacturing process Ensure that employees are following all safety procedures, enforce PPE usage, work processes, and continually train employees on procedures Lead and motivate employees in using lean tools and processes Enforce standard work, quick changeover practices and maintain smooth production flow Working with supervisors to support and advocate for lean principles, including Kanban and material flow ideologies Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills, have an attention for detail, and problem-solving abilities Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!): 1st shift: 6:30am to 2:30pm Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Compensation: The hourly pay for this role is: $24 to $28/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
