About the Role
The Lead Installer oversees the installation of HVAC systems in new residential builds. You'll ensure are completed with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism-while guiding your crew and coordinating with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades.
This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, requiring deep technical skill and a commitment to safety and quality.
What You Bring
Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience (residential new construction required)
EPA Certification and Gas Mech 1 license
Ability to lead and train a crew of installers and apprentices
Proficiency with HVAC system layouts, ductwork, and mechanical drawings
Strong communication skills and ite leadership presence
Understanding of ite safety regulations and requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on ladders and rooftops
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must pass background check and drug test
Key Responsibilities
Execute complete HVAC system installations (ductwork, equipment, venting, line sets, etc.)
Lead, train, and mentor installation crews
Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and builder specifications
Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
Conduct quality checks to ensure systems meet company and code standards
Manage materials, ite cleanliness, and tool accountability
Maintain accurate job records and communicate progress to supervisors
Uphold R&R's reputation through excellent workmanship and customer interaction
