Job Description
Job Opening: Project Engineer - Drywall/Metal Stud Construction
Salary: DOE (70,000-90,000)
Were seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Engineer to support construction projects from planning through execution. In this role, youll assist Project Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring everything stays on track, on budget, and up to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Support project scheduling and monitor ongoing progress to help meet critical deadlines.
Review drawings, specifications, material lists, and budgets to support successful project delivery.
Track and analyze daily reports to assess project status and identify potential delays or issues.
Draft, price, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Order Requests (CORs), submittals, and contractor correspondence.
Communicate effectively between field teams and management, resolving issues and ensuring seamless coordination.
Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to planning and strategic adjustments.
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of hands-on experience in field operations and project planning within the construction industry.
Proficiency in design and visualization software.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
Knowledge of construction standards, codes, and best practices.
Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal.
A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and commitment to team success.
