The Department of the Physical Plant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Multi-Skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team:
Responsibilities:
+ Maintenance, installation and repair of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems and equipment
+ Testing and performing preventive maintenance on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning related equipment
+ When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic Electrical systems; Plumbing systems; H.V.A.C systems; Carpentry and Lock repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ High School graduate or GED (Required)
+ Minimum of two (2) years of specialized training or a recognized two (2) year apprenticeship course for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and H.V.A.C systems and their related pneumatic / electric components (Required)
+ Experience in Healthcare facilities (Preferred)
+ Must be capable of reading electrical / piping schematics
