A small personalized Engineering (MEP) firm that is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer for a part-time/contract basis.
The following tasks will be expected for this position:
Reviewing building construction drawings & specifications prepared by other design firms, and reviewing submittals.
Once every month go to site (NY and NJ) for Electrical Inspection and prepare a report within a week for each site visit.
This offer includes involvement in the construction phase which wouldnt require any actual design work.
This will be a part-time/contract position, and 1099 will be issued.
For all remote work, the salary will be hourly based on your experience and will be further discussed upon meeting.
The lump-sum fix rate will be discussed for every site visit.
Required Software Knowledge: AutoCAD, Adobe/PDF, Microsoft Word and Excel.
