Machine Builder/Mechanical Technician**
**Job Description**
This position is for a Machine Builder responsible for performing start-to-finish assembly of production equipment. The role involves assembling components using hand and power tools based on blueprints. Candidates must identify dimensions, material types, and utilize appropriate symbols in blueprint reading. Technicians will work across various areas of the assembly floor, engaging in tasks related to large equipment setups.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read, interpret, and understand assembly and detail drawings, including materials, views, assembly order, length, tolerances, material type, and finish.
+ Independently determine hardware requirements for assembly builds.
+ Plan assembly and build sequences utilizing drawings.
+ Build assemblies, sub-assemblies, segments of machines, and construct/assist in constructing standalone machines and/or large integrated systems.
+ Properly utilize a variety of power and hand tools for assembly, including wrenches, Allen keys, power drills, taps and tap drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly roles in machine building, machine assembly, or large piece assembly.
+ Ability to read blueprints and build to prints (dimensions, materials, assembly symbols).
+ Experience using hand and power tools.
**Work Environment**
Work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility that consolidates all operations under one roof, including machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and final processing. The company is expanding and currently has 230 employees with plans for further growth.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
