Field Project Supervisor / Construction Division -- Sioux Falls, SD
Purpose: Promote business growth and customer satisfaction by excelling in the completion of high quality and timely construction projects. Responsible for project execution, coordination, and communication with co-workers and contractors assigned to jobs, as well as the customers and their advocates (insurance agents, adjusters, etc)
Essential Functions
Daily review of all ongoing projects and report on progress with Department Manager
Schedule and re-schedule work with co-workers, contractors, and customers
Use industry software to manage projects including all documentation
Successfully manage project budgets
Determine and prepare materials, equipment and resources per job
Onsite inspections of projects to verify status of assigned work
Provide feedback on inspections directly to those completing the work at the time of the observation. Include findings in the daily progress review with the Department Manager
Initiate regularly scheduled contact with customers to communicate progress and confirm satisfaction
Respond promptly and with empathy as the point of contact for customers
Initiate regularly scheduled contact with contractor to ensure quality and timeliness of service delivery
Respond promptly and accurately to questions from contractors or co-workers as the point of contact
Complete skilled labor tasks as needed
Follow and enforce all safety standards
Be available to be On Call for emergency situations

Experience and Education:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction / restoration industry required
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
Ability to pass a background check required
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or project management experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in General Management or Project Management preferred
Physical Demands
Ability to occasionally bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects
Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally 100lbs, to perform job functions
Ability to work in a variety of environments, conditions, and temperatures including both in the office and in the field
