The Role
The Senior Project Manager (PM) for Relocation and Road Move Construction Reimbursements is the primary single point of contact for managing contract agreements, invoicing, and tracking reimbursements through various online tools, programs, and financial systems. The Senior Project Manager must learn, understand, and apply state and company policies for Public and Private Rights of Way in regard to telecommunications utilities. Senior Project Manager's validate the provided scope of work details and identify unique project requirements. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for being a liaison between Lumen's engineers and the external customer/requestor. The Senior Project Manager represents company interests while drafting and negotiating reimbursement contracts ensuring correct terms and cost quotes are applied in accordance with applicable laws and policies. This role leads all concerned parties to resolve utility conflicts and ensure collection of all applicable reimbursements.
Location and Schedule
This is a Work From Home Role(WFH)
Monday thru Friday (Core Hours determined by Assignment)
The Main Responsibilities
Some examples of duties the PM performs are: (High Level Overview)
Produce, Track and Manage Reimbursement Agreements and the resulting Billing & Invoicing using automated and manual tools and platforms.
Accountable for timely agreement processing for significant project volume
Assess/Manage risk, impacts and potential alternatives and escalate as required to the appropriate level of management.
Self-motivated, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, other administrative tasks and clients in parallel in a time sensitive environment.
Other duties include data entry, tracking, and reporting as the project(s) move forward.
Special Projects and Stretch Initiatives as needed.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree and/or 2+ years of related experience
Implementation, Operations, Planning or Maintenance experience with one or more of the following: Telecommunications, Utilities, or General Construction
Initiative-taking, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in a time sensitive environment.
Ability to communicate effectively, strong customer communication skills are a requirement
Basic telecommunications technical knowledge required
Demonstrated ability to use and apply Business Acumen.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams such as Legal, Real Estate, Engineering, Finance, Product, Operations and Support.
Preferred:
Outside Plant Telecommunications Construction or Engineering experience
5+ years' experience in project management
Previous Experience with contract language and terminology
Financial, Invoicing, bid preparation or bookkeeping background
Experience with Data Analysis
