St. Michael M/ienresota A Great Place to Grow Public Works/Equipment Operator The pay range for this position is $32.44/hour to $39.55/ hour, with a starting wage of $32.44 to $35.99 dependent on qualifications. Saint Michael (Pop 22,000) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Works/Equipment Operator. This position will involve concrete, blacktop, and all aspects of street repair, parks maintenance, manual labor, operation of heavy and light street equipment, snowplowing, etc. Minimum requirements are high school diploma, a good driving record and Class B CDL driver's license with air brake; and the ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire. Preferred experience with equipment operation, equipment maintenance, and mechanical knowledge. Experience with concrete forming/ pouring/finishing, blacktop paving, fabrication, carpentry, and snowplowing experience is a plus.
