Join Our Team as a Vital Contributor to Engineering Excellence
Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to enhance their team with technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills. This role is crucial for the successful execution and support of engineering projects across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver on-site engineering services, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), commissioning, training, validation, troubleshooting, and warranty support.
Facilitate the installation of electrical and mechanical components, including retrofits, and provide necessary instructional documents.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Serve as the on-site liaison between company and the customer, ensuring effective communication of scope changes and project updates.
Document service activities comprehensively, including protocols, checklists, trip reports, and drawing markups.
Assist in rebuilds, preventive maintenance, and safety evaluations.
Provide valuable feedback to the Process Automation team to drive continuous improvement.
Offer remote technical support to customers when required.
Collaborate with project managers and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless execution.
Maintain high service standards and foster strong interpersonal relationships with customers and global teams.
Be prepared for significant travel (up to 60% overnight and 80% including local) across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, supporting the startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support of industry-leading process systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering, or 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and AC/DC systems.
Proficiency with hand tools, basic welding, and metalworking.
Familiarity with psychrometrics, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic.
Ability to interpret control system documentation, including P&IDs, schematics, and panel layouts.
Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and NEMA standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, Access, and/or SQL Server.
Valid driver's license required.
