Seeking an entry-level Mechanic for our Coquille Plywood Plant

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high quality and productivity standards per requirements
- Understand and adhere to prescribed safety procedures
- Must have excellent attendance and safety record
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair gasoline and diesel engines, drive train components, electrical systems, and fluid and power systems
- Fabrication and weld
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Identifies and researches replacement parts for order
- Must have own tools, hand and air
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Must complete required training as required per union/employer agreement or equivalent experience or training
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair and understand all types of rolling stock
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to fight fires at incipient phase
- Need Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) License to install, extend, alter, or make repairs to propane tanks, piping, or equipment.
- Working knowledge of CMMS systems to create, update, and close out Work Orders.
- Able to utilize equipment documentation to troubleshoot and find information about maintaining rolling stock.
- Must understand and adhere to prescribed safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to understand verbal and written communication
- Must be able to maintain a fleet of rolling stock and keep them in running condition
- Must pass company jitney driving course and mechanical aptitude test
- Must learn new applicable technologies as directed
- Must be a team player and willing to work with other maintenance trades
