Job Duties
Directly responsible to the Trades Manager for providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Management
Program. Conduct general maintenance work for the Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration shops
by repairing, installing and maintaining properly functioning equipment.
This position is considered essential personnel and would be required to work in the event of an emergency, pandemic,
or facility need. All ESH positions are required to work different shifts to include nights, weekends and holidays,
and/or overtime as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to act in the capacity of essential personnel during emergency/crisis situations.
General knowledge of; plumbing, electrical, carpentry skills, general knowledge of HVAC systems is helpful but not required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of plumbing, and electrical, equipment and maintenance methods pertinent to the general building maintenance field. Ability work independently, to plan assigned work, select and gather needed materials, tools and equipment for maximum efficiency and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
