Carpenter Job Description in related trades. While specific carpentry experience is not necessary, candidates must be proficient in reading a tape measure and using a hammer, with relevant experience in areas such as deck building, exteriors, or mechanical trades. Candidates should have their own tool belt. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks including exteriors, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and flooring. Assist with rough plumbing finishing, electrical tasks, and HVAC odds and ends that do not require licensing. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills to complete projects. Interpret blueprints and execute tasks according to specifications. Essential Skills Proficiency in carpentry and use of hand tools. Experience with tape measures, concrete, and drywall. Ability to perform rough carpentry and finish carpentry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in mechanical trades or related fields. Familiarity with power tools and blueprint reading. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crosslake, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
