Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000 / year

Description Unmatched Comp Time Policy: Hours worked over 40 in a week can be reimbursed as additional pay at an equivalent hourly rate or banked as additional PTO.

As a Landscape Architect/Designer, you will build hands-on experience in active transportation, landscape architecture, urban design, or civil engineering through high-impact projects.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
  • Support Project Managers and Engineers with design tasks throughout all project phasesfrom conceptual design through construction
  • Participate in all stages of project development, including bidding support and construction administration
  • Perform drafting and design work in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a focus on:
    • Sheet layout, dimensioning, and labeling
    • 2D drafting and detailing
    • Alignments, basic profiles, and grading with feature lines
    • Basic exposure to corridors, assemblies, and pipe networks
  • Interpret and integrate plans from multiple engineering and design disciplines
  • Create and refine visual materials such as photo-renderings, concept sketches, and construction drawings
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve both conventional and unconventional design challenges
  • Read and interpret technical documents including drawings, maps, and design standards
  • Manage and organize project files and data from various sources
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, error-free work
  • Occasionally travel to job sites to collect field data or assist with on-site tasks

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Design, Planning, or a related field. Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience and skills
  • 13 years of experience in the engineering, planning, or landscape architecture industry
  • Hands-on involvement in projects through design, construction, and closeout phases
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience in construction, fabrication, or related fields
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong technical design and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
