Salary - 100-120k (depending on skills + experience)

Essential Industry Role: Contribute to the efficient operation of a critical facility in the food distribution industry, providing stability and impact.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs across the facility, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
Conduct inspections and necessary repairs on roofs, concrete surfaces, and product racking systems.
Execute maintenance activities on Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and various dock equipment.
Manage daily refrigeration operator duties, including eRSM inspections and maintaining logs as a Chief Refrigeration Engineer.
Undertake minor electrical repairs, addressing issues with electrical devices and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Complete diverse special projects related to building and grounds, such as moving fixtures, changing lights, and snow removal.
Qualifications
Possess a Class A Chief Refrigeration Certification or an equivalent Provincial certification.
Hold a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); facility maintenance technician schooling is preferred.
Demonstrate knowledge of industrial facility and ASRS (Automated Storage Retrieval System) maintenance.
Proficiency in electrical controls (high and low voltage), NFPA 80 National Fire Code, and Arc Flash requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and strong understanding of motors, motor control centers, and contactor/relay systems.
A valid provincial Drivers License in good standing is required, with access to a vehicle.
