**Driver/Warehouse**

**Summary:**The driver/warehouse position is responsible for receiving, handling, maintaining and delivering furniture in accordance to the company standards of service. This position is also responsible for various duties as assigned.

**Reports to:** Store owner

**Minimum Qualifications:**

High School diploma or GED

Current drivers license

Communication proficiency

Organizational skills

Time management

Technical capacity

**Working Conditions:**This position operates in a warehouse setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, as well as standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers and other small tools.

**Duties include, but not limited to:**

Deliver furniture to customers in a professional manner

Move furniture from warehouse to delivery trucks or other designated areas

Effectively and professionally communicate with the public and coworkers

Drive delivery vehicles safely and legally

Shipping and receiving duties include loading,unloading trucks and checking BOLs to ensure proper delivery to store

Read customers orders and work orders to determine items to be picked, packed, repaired and delivered

Assemble or repair furniture as needed

Sort and place items to predetermined locations in the warehouse

Participate in physical inventory
