**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Own and maintain basic hand tools and test equipment to perform

assigned tasks.

- [Conduct repairs on metal and composite structures]{#isPasted}

- Read and interpret mechanical drawings

- Perform major repairs on airframe sheet metal or composite

- Perform alterations on the airframe by utilizing structural repair

manuals and/or blueprints or technical drawings

- Perform other work on the refurbished/conversion aircraft as

directed

- Install, alter and repair sheet metal products systems utilizing

blueprints, drawings and work orders.

- Plan and coordinate tasks and amount of material required for

performance of work.

- Prepare and implement equipment based on need. Including, but not

limited to power saws, drill presses, hand and power shears, pan and

box brakes, lockformers, cleat benders, and rollers to cut, punch,

thread and form sheet metal.

- Coordinate and assemble sheet metal products.

- Quality Assurance - operational checks of sheet metal installations

to determine quality and any necessary corrective action that may

need to be taken.
