Job Title: Engineering Project Management Support
Job Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract on W2 (With extension)
Pay range: $50-55/Hr on W2
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Project Management Support Specialist to assist program managers and engineering teams in planning, coordinating, and executing complex projects. This role is critical to ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and cross-functional alignment across engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning activities including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Manage control accounts and track earned value metrics to monitor project performance.
Identify project risks and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
Facilitate communication among internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
Support Control Account Management (CAM) activities, including variance analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain project documentation such as meeting notes, action items, and status reports.
Develop and improve project management tools, templates, and best practices.
Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in project management or control account management within a product development environment.
Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling and earned value management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, PM Compass, or OpenPlan.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP).
Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional projects with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.
