Electrical Engineer (PE)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading design efforts and ensuring project compliance with both client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design across a range of commercial, municipal, and industrial projects.
• Supervise a full-time electrical designer.
• Produce accurate electrical construction documents using AutoCAD or REVIT .
• Coordinate effectively with mechanical/plumbing engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with design and safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of current electrical codes, industry standards, and emerging technologies .
• Provide limited, as-needed support to partner teams based in South Fulton, TN.
• Perform additional engineering duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related discipline.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Kentucky is required ; licensure in multiple states is a plus.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience stamping electrical projects, preferably in an MEP firm .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, municipal, and industrial electrical design standards .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Paducah, KY .
