Our client, who is leading the world in packaging and container manufacturing, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join their team in Leola, PA.

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be a key player in driving success in safety, quality, and efficiency! You'll help to hit KPIs while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Your project management skills will shine as you coordinate exciting new equipment initiatives with a talented team of engineers and technicians.

You'll troubleshoot and implement innovative engineering solutions, design cutting-edge automated production equipment, and create vital electrical schematics and control systems. Plus, you'll support equipment installations, perform power requirement calculations, and develop SOPs to elevate operations.

In this role, you'll also train production staff on best practices, collaborate across departments to gather insights, and lead continuous improvement plans that enhance efficiency and safety.

What you will need to bring:

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Experience designing, developing, implementing and troubleshooting motion control systems, including variable frequency drives and servo control

Experience designing, developing, implementing and troubleshooting electrical control systems such as PLC, relay logic, and control networks, production equipment automation, and industrial controls networks

Experience using and programming controls software

Experience using HMI and Ladder Logic

Experience with 5S procedures

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products

Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Ability to successfully prioritize, and organize projects, deadlines, and tasks with little supervision in both team and independent environments

Strong verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related information
