Electrical Drafter

Join our dynamic team as a BIM Technician and engage in 3D modeling using Revit to prepare BIM models for new and existing electrical systems within commercial buildings. This role involves coordinating electrical systems with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems through weekly coordination meetings. Additionally, you will create pre-fab drawings for field installation using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BIM models for electrical systems using Revit.
• Coordinate electrical systems with other building systems such as Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Create pre-fabrication drawings for field installation utilizing AutoCAD.

• Proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Computer skills including Navisworks.
• Experience in electrical design and construction.

• Electrical drafting experience is a plus.

The work involves contributing to projects such as hospitals and power plants. You will join a team alongside one other BIM modeler and collaborate with the pre-fabrication department. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
