As a Controls Engineering Technician at AirBorn LLC, a Molex Company, you'll play a critical support role in the design, development, and maintenance of control systems that power our advanced manufacturing equipment. Your work will help ensure reliability,pliance, and performance across our automation platforms while collaborating closely with engineers and production teams.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with Controls Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, and refine automated equipment systems

Assist in specifying, sourcing, and maintaining electricalponents and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Build and test control panels and support schematic revisions/redlines

Support equipment installation, operator training, and production ramp-up

Participate in the development of machine manuals and qualification documentation

Aid in debugging new equipment and maintaining legacy systems to reduce downtime

Ensurepliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA79)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Associate degree (2-year) in a related technical field or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls, automation, or related systems

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams

Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and electromechanicalponents

Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project) and statistical software

What Will Put You Ahead

Familiarity with MRP systems and BOM management

Knowledge of NEC electrical code and NFPA79 safety standards

Experience with pneumatic systems and troubleshooting control logic

Exposure to machine qualification and documentation practices

Effectivemunication skills with technical and non-technical audiences

For this role, we anticipate paying $27- $37 hourly. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
