Flux Core Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams, pass the 2G and 3G FCAW weld tests, and perform various welding tasks with precision and expertise. The role requires at least 2-4 years of experience in welding vertical and horizontal positions. Responsibilities Read and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams. Pass 2G and 3G FCAW weld tests. Perform layout, positioning, alignment, fitting, clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, grinding, or bolting of component parts for welding preparation. Handle materials using hand tools, overhead crane, forklift, or other handling equipment. Operate various automatic, semi-automatic, or manual welding equipment using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and submerged arc welding. Essential Skills Proficiency in stainless steel welding and flux core welding (FCAW). Ability to weld in horizontal and vertical positions. Fitting and fabrication skills. Experience with MIG welding. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and carrying materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with blueprint reading and welding diagrams. Capability to work in a union environment. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $63003.00 - $70000.00/yr. This is a Union environment that offers a high starting pay rate, and Four different health plans through Highmark. Dental and vision offered as well. 401k plan up to 5% match. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Murrysville,PA.
