Qualified Winter Season Laborer

Job Duties: Position offered is for an experienced landscape laborer with a minimum of three (3)

month(s) job-related experience. who is able to work with and model company methods and procedures

with up to 3 peers, with duties to include removal and trimming of trees and bushes from the

ground; raking and cleaning up ground, leaf removal, and leftover debris; disposal of brush, limbs,

and trees; winter landscape planting including hollies and other evergreens, spreading mulch;

winterizing plants and trees to protect from freezes with winter maintenance of yards with drainage

control; annual winter color installs; property wide mulch installation, application and

fertilization to protect plants, winterization and draining of sprinkler systems. Loading and

unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to SO pounds. Work performed on local

area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized

pickup location in the specified area of employment.

Three (3) months experience required. On the job training. No education required.

$18.26 - $30.00/hr. Wage range based on experience and performance. $27.39 - $45.00/hr.

O.T.Employer will offer 40 hours of work with a 1 hr. lunch each workday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.,

M-F, Some O.T. may be available, but is not guaranteed.

40 positions available for temporary, full-time, peak load work. Dates of Employment Offered:

10/1/2025 - 03/31/2026.

Jobsites located in: Williamson, Travis, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell, Burnet, Bell, Guadelupe, Comal,

and Blanco Counties. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to

The employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Pay will be weekly. Assistance

Other benefits provided to U.S. and H2B workers are the following: Bonuses may be available but are

not guaranteed. Optional Pay Advances are available up to $75.00 per workday for housing if needed.

The employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.

Additional deductions include: Weekly deductions will be made for Optional Pay Advances of $100/pay

period if provided.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for

transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion

of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for

workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the

worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent

employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be

equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily

subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per

day with receipts.

H2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek.

The employer will provide, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform

the job duties.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least of the workdays in each 12-week

period of the total

employment period.
