Location: Sherwood, Oregon
Compensation: $24-28/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Who We Are:
A Local manufacturing company that engineers, fabricates, and constructs equipment for the farming and logging industry for the last 45 years is looking to hire! This company is proud to buy and make all of its products in the United States. They are a complete process taking in material and performing everything from CNC machining, welding, and assembly.
What You'll Do:
The role involves assembling, installing, and repairing heavy lift machines, with approximately 95% of the work focused on building new machines and 5% on repairing & diagnosing used equipment. These are large machines, and you will have a chance to learn more about how to use tools for larger machines. You will be assembling the large, fabricated pieces for large farming equipment, logging equipment, and other various types of heavy equipment machinery.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of assembling products.
Experience with Hydraulic and/or Electrical automotive or heavy equipment builds
Attention to detail to inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications.
Ability to adapt and work on 5 product lines.
Experience with Jib and Overhead cranes is preferred.

3+ years of mechanical assembly experience
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches
Experience with hydraulics and/or electrical automotive or heavy equipment builds
Attention to detail to inspect assemblies
Ability to adapt and work on 5 different product lines
Ability to tack weld is a plus
Need your own tools/box
