Electrician

We are looking for a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Your expertise in electrical work and adherence to safety standards will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with electrical codes and regulations. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and system configurations. Test electrical systems and equipment using testing devices and ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify faults, making necessary repairs and replacements. Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure longevity. Collaborate with other team members or contractors on larger electrical projects. Provide guidance and support to apprentice electricians or helpers. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Keep accurate records of electrical work and maintenance activities. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Valid electrician's license/certification or relevant trade qualification. Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role. Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and regulations. Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to handle electrical tools and equipment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls if required.
