Safety Manager Details:
Direct Hire position
$125,000.00 /annually
First Shift (Monday through Friday)
PV Solar and BESS project
Assist in the development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and templates that include the Site Safety Plans, Site Passports, Emergency Response Plans, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Site Induction
Participates in safety related discussions at Plan of the Day (POD) Meetings, All Hands Meetings, Safety Committee Meetings, Staff Meetings, and Client/Owner Monthly Meetings
Deliver training on Safety Initiatives, Site Induction, Work Procedures, Work Instructions, SMS, and regulatory requirements.
Inspect work areas to verify consistency with procedural, client, and regulatory requirements.
Safety Manager Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a safety professional and must have experience as the site safety manager, managing safety on Renewable Energy projects (wind or solar).
They need experience with a large acreage site and that the person has been a safety professional in utility scale renewables, or utility construction.
Will be provided a work truck and a computer and a phone allowance.
Must be located less than 1 hour from the site from Bastrop, LA site.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to work as a team member with the remaining client rep team.
Ability to manage/administer safety orientations, investigate/report on injuries/illnesses/near misses and other to perform other various safety functions on-site.
Ability to work with all construction groups: management, owners, trades, and subcontractors.
