Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler for a client in East Hartford. Candidate will be loading, unloading, picking and packing. Must be comfortable in using a computer for data entry. This role requires you to verify paperwork and shipping instructions and ensure the work area is clean and operational. Responsibilities Ensure accuracy in paperwork and shipping instructions. Maintain a clean and operational work area. Execute tasks such as shipping and receiving when necessary. Safety in operating forklifts Ability to operate forklifts Essential Skills At least 1 years of experience with FedEx and UPS. Proficiency in using computers and relevant software. Work Environment The facility is organized into three main wells, each dedicated to different aspects of the shipping and receiving process. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of East Hartford, CT Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.41 - $22.41/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
