Job Description:

Note: You must have previous professional cabinet-making experience to apply.

As an experienced cabinet maker, you will play a crucial role in our shop, responsible for building, assembling, and installing custom cabinetry and woodwork projects. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every piece meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a blend of technical skill, creativity, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cabinet Making: Build and assemble custom cabinets and woodwork pieces according to specifications and design plans.

- Woodworking: Perform precise carpentry work, including cutting, shaping, and joining wood materials.

- Installation: Install finished cabinetry and woodwork on-site, ensuring proper fit and finish.

- Project Management: Coordinate with the project manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Quality Control: Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet our standards.

- Maintenance & Operation: Previous experience using C & C machine and a forklift. Be able to maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in daily good working condition.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and take direction willingly to continue fostering a positive and productive work environment.

- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential cabinet making and/or carpentry.

- Skills: Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery including operation of a CnC machine. Strong understanding and application of woodworking techniques and principles.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for quality.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the construction and installation process.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret design plans and blueprints.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.

- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist and learn from others.

- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to completing projects on time.
