ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and test cutting-edge electronic instrumentation that measures physical processes.
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for assignments.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to achieve departmental objectives.
• Confer with engineers, customers, and other stakeholders on engineering projects and products.
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
• Provide essential engineering documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to support and test products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Perform detailed calculations to establish performance specifications.
• Plan and implement research methodologies and procedures to apply electrical theory principles.
• Prepare specifications for the procurement of materials and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated interest and expertise in developing analog and digital circuitry, micro-controllers, field-programmable gate arrays, and power supplies.
• Experience designing high-performance electronic instrumentation (highly desirable).
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems and digital signal processing (highly desirable).
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage personal project tasks effectively within individual and team settings.
