- Project Analysis & Planning: Review proposals, blueprints, and specifications to identify labor, material, and time requirements; resolve discrepancies through analysis.
- Document & Quality Control: Ensure accuracy and quality of all PDF documents shared with the project team.
- Team & Contractor Coordination: Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth coordination.
- Project Execution & Monitoring: Manage daily operations, assign responsibilities, and maintain work sequences to meet project schedules.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project progress against goals, budgets, and timelines; report variances and create action plans.
- Change Management: Implement change control processes, assess requests, secure approvals, and issue change orders.
- Estimation, Construction, Construction Management, Bidding, Commercial Construction, Industrial Construction, Budgeting, Construction Estimating.
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years of Electrical Project Management and Estimating experience; if 10+ years of experience, a degree is not required.
- Experience in Estimating software such as Accubid; Procore or similar construction software is acceptable.
- Prior or current experience in Project Management for Industrial, Commercial, and Automotive construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Reporting research results.
- Identify, understand and meet project schedule deliverables.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
The candidate will need to be located in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area due to the GM project. The role requires frequent operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, and printers. There is frequent communication with employees and customers. Essential physical abilities include walking over rough and uneven surfaces at job sites, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, work boots, eye protection, and hearing protection. The candidate may be exposed to various weather conditions and loud noise levels when equipment is operated at job sites.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.12/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
