Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently loading delivery trucks and handling bricks for blending in a manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Load delivery trucks in a safe and timely manner.
+ Transport cubed material from storage yard to staging area for blending.
+ Set brick cubes on the conveyor for movement to the brick handlers.
+ Arrange different types of material in proper order for blending.
+ Maintain records of the amount of each type of Material used for repackaging.
+ Operate numerous control levers which are hand and foot controlled.
+ Ensure continuous material supply for blenders under supervision.
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous forklift experience.
+ Experience within manufacturing or a similar environment preferred.
+ Self-motivated with good time management.
+ Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to operate two-wide and four-wide forklifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-5 years of sit-down forklift experience.
+ Material handling experience, preferably in the building products industry.
+ Ability to pass qualification testing for forklift operation.

**Work Environment**
Work in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. Join a team of about 50-60 people, with 5-8 running forklifts. Dress code requires closed-toed leather work boots and appropriate attire for weather conditions.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.77 - $22.89/hr.
