Civil Engineer - Drainage

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer specializing in drainage systems for a PM/PE role. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience, particularly in master planning, storm drain, flood plain management, and USACE/ACOE projects. Familiarity with software such as stormCAD, SWMM, and HCMS is essential. A Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree. We are open to candidates with a Mechanical Engineering experience as well.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage drainage projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct master planning for storm drains and flood plains.
  • Collaborate on projects involving USACE/ACOE methodologies.
  • Utilize StormCAD, SWMM, and HCMS software for project design and implementation.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and project documentation.
Essential Skills
  • 8-10 years of experience in drainage systems and related projects.
  • Proficiency in StormCAD, SWMM, and HCMS software.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Strong background in hydraulics modeling and GIS.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and land development.
  • Mechanical engineering degree considered a plus.
  • Experience in civil design and drafting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
