What Coperion Offers You:
1st shift: 5:00 am -3:30pm Monday through Thursday 10 hour days with a 30 min lunch.
Hourly pay with OT after 40 hours, OT typically occurs on Fridays from 5:00am-1:00pm

What youll do:
Using Mig and Tig welding, youll be constructing Stainless Steel parts and pieces up to and including full hoppers and the support structures that hold them.
Typically gauges range from 16 up to .
Youll be responsible for final fit up and welding of parts after laser cutting and braking processes as well as grinding or polishing as needed.
Uses hand tools such as sledge hammers, wrenches, hex keys, screwdrivers, etc.
Recognize and maintain a strong safety culture.
Uses forklifts to move pallets of parts and finished hoppers.
Absolutely must possess and utilize the ability to problem solve and think critically as part of the build process.

Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with formal trades training or a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in TIG and MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, welding symbols, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must possess the ability to apply the concepts of basic algebra and geometry to their work.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to read weld symbols to perform role.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours without formal breaks
Must be able to work in non-air-conditioned environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Must pass background check, drug test and provide proof that you are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Great to Haves:
Weld Certification a plus.
Grind and fabrication experience a plus.
Experience operating an overhead crane experience is not required, but we will train
Experience driving a fork truck we will train
2 plus years welding MIG and TIG
