Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 3rd or 4th Year Carpenter Apprentice to join our skilled team. Responsibilities
Assist in the construction and installation of structures such as roofs, cabinets, and other wooden frameworks.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Engage in caulking and sealing to ensure structures are weather-tight and energy-efficient.
Participate in concrete forming activities as part of foundation work or other projects.
Support experienced carpenters with heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on job sites.
Help restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
Requirements
A strong willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills through hands-on experience.
Basic knowledge of hand tools used in carpentry is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints or a willingness to learn this skill quickly.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours.
Previous experience in maintenance person services or related fields is a plus but not required.
A commitment to safety practices on the job site at all times.
