Sevan Multi Site Solutions is a veteran owned business that provides construction program management real estate & site development and architecture & engineering services for restaurant grocery fuel and convenience store retail and government sectors nationwide We work with leading brands like McDonalds Starbucks Sprouts and BP to name a few At Sevan we provide the talent technology and trusted expertise needed to consistently deliver excellence in multi site construction Sevan is an INC 5000 Fastest Growing Company Great Places to Work 2024 2024 HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award Best Places to work in Chicago 20 21 22 23 Best Places to Work in Construction 2023 The Senior Architectural Designer is a member of Sevans design studio and works alongside a group of individuals to provide architectural services to a variety of clients The Senior Architectural Designer is accountable for producing accurate design and construction documents for our commercial multi site clients within the restaurant retail grocery andor fuel industries Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares complete accurate and code compliant construction documentsProvides technical and creative design solutions that align with program intentResponsible for determining the appropriate building components and their design applicationResponsible for meeting project schedules deadlines and commitments for all projectsAssists the project manager in coordinating work with consultants contractors fabricators specification writers and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesNotifies supervisor of changes in project scope and advises if a change order proposal is neededPossesses a working knowledge of building codes and ADA requirementsConducts project due diligence with municipalities to determine local zoning and building code requirementsAccountable for resolving plan review comments from code officialsProject liaison to code officials outside consultants suppliers and contractors regarding questions to the construction documentsReviews evaluates others work and provides productive feedback and technical directionWorks with supervisor and peers to pursue professional developmentParticipates in the development of more junior members of the team Participates in NCARBs Architectural Experience Program AXP ProgramSelf starter with the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision on large scope projects with many complexities May represent the company at client project meetings Visits project sites to verify scope exiting conditions and other related activitiesOther duties as assignedQualifications 4 year Bachelor of Architecture Licensed Architect or pursuing license4 years of related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient in REVIT required AutoCAD Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Photoshop SketchUp Smartsheet 3Ds Max is a plus Comprehensive knowledge of architectural principles practices and advanced techniques Expertise in drawings specifications and building materials Capable of completing complicated and difficult architectural assignments and large complex projects with minimal supervision Ability to execute and coordinate multiple projects at a time Experience in commercial multi site projects preferredArchitectural License or pursuing preferred Pay & Benefits The anticipated compensation range for the position is 68000 82000 is based on a full time schedule market and business conditions and is commensurate on individual education qualifications and experience Benefits include medical dental vision life and disability insurances flexible paid time off paid holidays sick time and a matching 401K plan Work Conditions & Travel This is a remote position for individuals living within a commutable distance to Bentonville Arkansas A highly collaborative environment that flourishes when individual and team contributions combine to achieve target goals and objectives The workplace is dynamic fast paced and flexible Able to work remotely in a home office setting and manage time effectively with multiple projects and deadlines Travel on an as needed basis 0 10 Regularly required to sit;
