Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Pull, route, and secure fiber optic cables through conduit, trays, and overhead systems in cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments
- Assist with the layout and preparation of cable paths and support structures
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and accurate cable installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, especially in sensitive semiconductor environments
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, ladder safety, and confined space procedures
- Label and document cable runs according to project specifications
- Operate lifts, ladders, and hand tools as required for cable routing
- Identify and report any obstructions, hazards, or deviations from plans to supervisors
Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training or certifications in electrical or low-voltage systems preferred
Experience
- 1+ year of experience in cable pulling, low-voltage systems
- Experience working in semiconductor or cleanroom environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with AMHS systems, cable trays, and heater jacket installations is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and cable routing diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
