Traveling Pipe Welder $32 per hour and $150/per diem Job Description Join our team specializing in the engineering and manufacturing of steam generation and gas turbine Co-generation equipment. As a Traveling Welder, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality weldments, pressure vessels, and piping according to A.S.M.E. boiler codes, weld procedures, and customer requirements. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota. Responsibilities Layout, fit, and weld from blueprints a variety of weldments, pressure vessels, and piping. Perform TIG and MIG welding tasks as a level one or level two Code Welder. Fabricate structural steel casings to surround pressure vessels in power plant environments. Execute code piping, fit, and weld interconnecting runs for field assembly. Conduct code welding of boiler tubes to pressure parts. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Minnesota. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding with at least 3 years of experience. Ability to pass a 6G weld test. Experience in Stick and Flux Core welding, with at least 1 year of experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in an industrial environment is beneficial. A Tech School Degree in Welding is strongly preferred but not required. Experience with TIG welding on pipes is an advantage. Why Work Here?
