Join the Division of Provider Services and Quality Assurance (DPSQA) as an Inspector III, where you will play a vital role in ensuring Medicaid service providers meet licensing and life safety requirements.

Job Summary:

This position oversees compliance inspections for both residential and non-residential provider settings across Arkansas.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Conduct pre-licensing compliance inspections and evaluate implementation and compliance to life safety codes

Perform on-site assessments including:

o Physical plant and facility reviews

o Life safety standards (egress/ingress, fire safety, emergency preparedness)

o Operational and structural code compliance

Review construction plans, measure square footage, map facility layouts, and document evaluations

Analyze policies, procedures, and personnel records to make licensing recommendations

Provide inspection documentation and post-evaluation compliance reports

May be deployed to a provider location in response to emergencies such as natural disasters (e.g., tornadoes, flood) or facility closures

Travel Requirements include:

Frequent in-state travel with potential for overnight stays

Qualified candidates should possess:

Hands-on experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

o Construction, engineering, or surveying (including plat or blueprint reading and comprehension)

o Fire safety regulations and certifications (e.g., OSHA, FPNA)

o Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance

High degree of professionalism and ethical conduct, especially when interacting with service providers

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong critical thinking and observational skills

Self-starter with exceptional organizational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or proven work history in one or more of the following fields:

OSHA safety regulations and quality management

Life safety code enforcement

Fire safety & prevention

Construction management or engineering

Job Summary The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the quality management team by performing foundational quality control tasks. This role is integral to guaranteeing that products or services meet internal quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The specialist works under the close supervision of experienced quality professionals, helping to conduct inspections, document findings, and implement basic corrective actions as needed. This is an ideal position for recent graduates or candidates starting their careers in quality assurance, as it offers hands-on training and exposure to the full quality assurance process. Primary Responsibilities Assist with routine inspections and testing of products or processes using approved methods.Collect and record samples and test data to monitor product quality against established benchmarks.Maintain detailed logs of quality test results, inspection checklists, and non-compliance incidents.Assist in preparing quality reports and summarizing findings for review by the senior quality assurance team.Input and validate quality data using spreadsheets or specialized software.Support personnel with preliminary analysis of quality trends to identify potential areas for improvement.Ensure adherence to agency quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.Aid in internal audits by preparing supporting documents and aiding with follow-up on corrective actions.Collaborate with production, operations, and engineering teams to communicate quality issues and propose enhancements.Participate in training sessions and quality improvement initiatives to maintain current knowledge of industry best practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
