Mechanical Project Engineer

Position : Mechanical Project Engineer
Industry : Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction
Location : Remote or Relocation (Southeast U.S. preferred)
Travel : Frequent travel to project sites in GA and NC (fully paid); per diem for food and lodging (MonFri travel, home on weekends)
Compensation : $85,000 $110,000 base + bonus potential
Employment Type : Full-Time
Reports To : Project Manager / Engineering Manager
Interview Process :

• 2 rounds via Microsoft Teams
• Final round may be virtual or onsite
• Drug test and background check required
• Recruiter screening required prior to submission

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred) or equivalent experience
• PE license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
• 37 years of experience in heavy/civil construction projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project)
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience :

• Public infrastructure (DOT, municipal, federal)
• LEED/sustainable design familiarity
