A leading national fabricator of architectural aluminum products is seeking an experienced drafter with exceptional AutoCAD skills to add immediately to our team.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

Candidate must be able to read and interpret architectural drawings
Candidate must be able to prepare technical drawings and details
Candidate must be able to work in a profitable and timely manner
Candidate will be responsible to the creation of fabrication tickets based upon approved shop drawings and field measurements
Candidate must be able to interpret field information obtained and make modifications as needed
Candidate must be willing to work closely with other members of the design team
Candidate should possess good organization skills and file management

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, organized and effective under pressure
Software skills including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
(Additional software skills in Sketchup helpful)
Proficient in reading Architectural drawings
Dedicated and trustworthy person with extra attention to detail
Construction experience helpful
Knowledgeable of industry terminology and standard construction methods / materials preferred
