CAD Technician

Job Description

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating redline drawings using CAD software and reporting to the Project Manager for daily assignments. You will work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to understand the requirements of initial designs and turn them into accurate and detailed technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Create accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to understand design requirements.
  • Report to the Project Manager to receive daily assignments and updates.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, and Drafting.
  • Experience in Civil or Mechanical Drafting, particularly in oil/gas industries.
  • Experience with AutoCAD 2D and willingness to learn Civil 3D.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required if the candidate has relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Microstation and Blueprint design.
Work Environment

This role requires in-office work five days per week as part of the CAD Team, which consists of four other drafters. You will work closely with Engineering and Project Management teams in a collaborative and engaging environment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
