A commercial construction services firm located in the suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a Construction PM to their team!

Job Description :

Project Financials & Job Costing:

  • Implement, monitor, and update job costing in real time with precision
  • Provide weekly Gross Profit (GP) reports for every active job
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance to maintain and optimize GP across all signed and active projects
  • Ensure clean project handoff from Pre-Construction, conduct thorough review, and complete buyout without compromising GP
  • Earn performance bonuses for GP gains on completed projects

Resource Management:

  • Enforce allocation of Site Superintendents and Project Manager hours for all active jobs
  • Identify and resolve potential subcontractor labor conflicts to avoid delays and inefficiencies

Permitting & Scheduling:

  • Track all open permits and address permit comment promptly
  • Maintain and update schedules for all active jobs
  • Keep the master job board current and accurate

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Serve as a leader and role model for the entire Operations Team
  • Promote a positive and respectful working relationship between Operations, Design, and Estimating departments
  • Train, mentor, and inspire junior Project Managers and Site Superintendents
  • Demonstrate behavior and performance that align with the companys core values and growth goals

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Construction Management
  • Must have 5 years of experience in a Project Manager position
  • Must have commercial interiors experience
  • Must be able to work 60% in office, 40% in the field (local Chicago work)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $52.88/hr.
