About the Role:

An established ethanol production facility near Le Mars is seeking a Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical (I/E) Technician to support plant reliability, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role working on industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant electrical systems (including 120/240/480V)

* Calibrate and repair instruments, analyzers, and process control equipment

* Interpret schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to perform work safely and accurately

* Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime

* Perform preventive maintenance and support root cause analysis

* Ensure compliance with electrical codes and plant safety standards

Qualifications: * 2+ years of industrial I/E maintenance experience (ethanol, chemical, or manufacturing preferred) * Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals * Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and hot/cold environments * Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred but Not Required: * Journeyman electrician license in Iowa or ability to obtain * Experience with Allen-Bradley systems and DeltaV or similar DCS platforms * Technical diploma or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field What's Offered: * $40+ an hour & shift differentials * 100% Employer Covered benefits package (medical, dental) * 401(K) matching with immediate vesting * Stable plant with strong safety culture and room for advancement * Relocation assistance available for the right candidate
