You will be an Electrical Design Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), responsible for providing technical support to Supplier Management Teams, reviewing electrical requirements, designs, ICDs, and drawings, and conducting research, technical investigations, and problem resolution. Our team is looking for a talented and experienced electrical design engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing technical support to Supplier Management Teams
Reviewing electrical requirements, designs, ICDs, and drawings
Conducting research, technical investigations, and problem resolution
Supporting system and subsystem design updates and release
Lab testing and evaluation
Providing on-site supplier support as required to perform failure investigations and ensure technical performance of Line Replaceable Units (LRU)
Performing MRBE tasks and supporting failure review board (FRB)
Helping with Electrical Engineering proposal activity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and isolate electrical failures in a production or depot environment
Proficient experience interpreting drawings, schematics, interface specifications, system level requirements and production planning is required.
Support internal meetings, prepare presentations, support capacity study/process improvements and support external meetings with Customers
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
Previous experience in FRB processes
Familiarity with the transition from development to production, including the resolution of design issues and optimization for mass production.
Experience in electrical design (preferably production phase) in aerospace or a similar industry.
Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus.
Experience in working with, and providing technical oversight, to subcontracted suppliers
