Heavy Equipment Shop Foreman Mechanic

Culbert Construction Inc is a Heavy Civil and Infrastructure General Contractor that has been successfully contracting in Eastern Washington for over 27 years. A position on the CCi team will give you the opportunity to work on heavy equipment and trucks. Mostly in the shop but some field work. Potential teammate must have at least 8 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience. Culbert Construction is an equal opportunity employer. Duties include but are not limited to,

Management Requirements
Point of contact for repairs and maintenance including lubing.
Create and maintain work orders.
Schedule and track preventative maintenance and repairs.
Create work schedules for field mechanic 1&2 as well as oiler.
Track and report repair and purchase needs to upper management.
Keep track of shop tools and assets.
Help create and maintain shop budgets.
Track tire needs and pricing.
Maintain shop supply inventory i.e. gas/ oil / consumables etc.
Price and quality comparing parts and materials.
Maintain a safe, cleanly and positive shop environment.
Develop comprehensive list of duties and frequencies.
Continually evaluate efficiencies of processes.
Communicate to all employees about needs, procedures, and jobs well done.
Position has potential to develop into Equipment and Maintenance Manager -2.
Participate in monthly company management and safety meetings.

Mechanical requirements
Manage heavy equipment maintenance team.
Guide, advise & mentor teammates.
Perform repairs or maintenance in shop or field.
Repair gas and diesel engines.
Hydraulic and electrical systems.
Proficient in welding
Temperament and experience Requirements.
Work safely by yourself and with others.
Five years in relative mechanical field.
A great attitude.
Must have complete set of tools.
Driving Requirements.
Clean driving record.
Must have a CDL with hazmat or be able to obtain one in within 60 days
Compensation and benefits
This can be an hourly or salary position, your choice.
Monetary compensation ranging from $95K-$125K DOQ.
