What you’ll do as a Central Office Laborer
- Assist in the setup, staging, and breakdown of job sites for central office install and maintenance.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Performs installation such as mounting of equipment, cable rack and fiber protection systems
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Travel to various sites as required—overnight travel may be necessary.
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Comfortable with travel and working extended hours when needed.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire).
1+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or fire systems OR Technical/Military/Trade School training
Preferred Skills:
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Prior construction or telecom experience is a plus.
Salary Range $18-$22hr
