What You Need:
Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred)
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment, or equivalent co-op/internship experience
Basic understanding of machining processes (turning, milling, CNC)
Exposure to GD&T and reading technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience a plus
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Mechanical Engineer will assist with engineering activities related to machining and manufacturing processes. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience with advanced machine tools and automotive production systems.
Support production engineering team in optimizing machining and turning processes
Assist in equipment setup, process trials, and tooling evaluations
Participate in troubleshooting efforts and root cause investigations
Collect and analyze process and quality data to support improvements
Collaborate with senior engineers on fixture and gauge design
Help implement process changes, new product introductions, and equipment upgrades
Gain exposure to vision systems, performance testers, and metrology equipment
