Job Details: Production Assembler & Welder Job Title: Production Assembler & Welder Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime may be available/required) Location: McPherson, KS Position Responsibilities: Production Assembler & Welder Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to accurately assemble and fabricate custom components. Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic assembly, and various welding tasks (primarily MIG welding on heavy metal, 1.5 to 4 multi-pass). Operate hand tools, measuring devices, and overhead cranes, including performing own hitching. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring tools and equipment are in professional working order. Collaborate with team members and management, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality standards. Complete production and quality assurance forms, actively participating in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Position Requirements: Production Assembler & Welder High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certified Welder preferred. 3-5+ years in a custom build shop preferred, with 2 years of MIG welding experience. Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, 3D prints/schematics, and operating a computer for data entry. Strong mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively, hold oneself accountable, and work independently or as part of a small team. Capable of standing for long periods (approx. 10 hours/day), lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, and performing repetitive motions. IND98
